Hello Readers! Here’s an interesting one!
Do you know, Barbie, the “IT” doll, was the creation of American businesswoman Ruth Handler which reportedly was manufactured by a toy company named Mattel in the year 1959? It was debuted by Handler at American International Toy fair in New York. The idea of “Barbie” was inspired by Paper dolls.
So, as you know, the Barbie fever and the color Pink have taken the Internet and Runways by storm. It’s the trend that has actually lasted longer than expected where brands are also hopping on the trend and trying to market their products inspired by Barbie or the color pink, popularly as a “Limited Edition” series.
Fun Fact: The famous fictional couple "Barbie" and "Ken" names were actually inspired from Handler's kids who were actually siblings!!!! What? Oh yes!
And so here it is… I tried to create a look based on the ongoing Barbie trend!

About the Look
I chose coordinate set in baby pink shade: A crop top with a flared stringed waist trouser. A little streetstyle look indeed! 😉
For footwear, I went with strappy black wedges to break the monotony of whole pink vibe which actually turned out pretty cool.
For the statement, I carried a pink sling bag and sunglasses! Damn, I loved how this complete look spoke for itself.

About the Makeup
I went with the blushy pink face!
I chose a pink eyeshadow and in the middle silver shimmers that went exactly as I wanted it to be! Stunning!
For lips, I can’t even compliment this lovely shade of pink matte lipstick.

Overall, I am so happy with the look!
An edgy and chic Barbie look, indeed. I would say not so overboard or too minimal. So kind of a balanced one instead!
Let me know your thoughts on this 🙂
